The Lutheran High Mustang Boys and Girls Track and Field Team continued their onslaught of the school and personal record book with their latest meet at St. Andrews School Relays held in Austin, Texas on Saturday.
Freshman Noah Tostenson continued his strong running performance in the 800m as he tied his own school record he set earlier in the year. Tostenson was also part of the 4×100 relay team that set school record in the event on Saturday. Tostenson, Keith Dukes, Corey Friesenhahn, and Clifford Geyer were all part of the school record setting team.
Geyer also set a few school records as well, breaking both the school record in the shot put and and discuss. Geyer, a freshman, placed in the top 20 in the varsity competition in both events.
2015 State Qualifier Corey Friesenhahn had a good meet which saw him set personal records in both the 200m and 400m. He finished 9th overall in the long jump with a jump of 19’1″.
Ben Allison and Keith Dukes also set personal records in the 800 and 200, respectively. Ben Saravia and Gio Lanzarin both set personal records in the discus while Devin Huff did so in both the shot and discus.
The meet consisted of 20 plus teams ranging from private 1A schools to public 5A schools.
