Boys Varsity Cross Country, Girls Varsity Cross Country · Cross Country Team Off to Quick Start

The Lutheran High Mustang Boys and Girls Cross Country teams kicked off their season by competing in the Comfort “6th Ever End of Summer” Meet.

Despite only three runners being able to compete in the event, the Mustangs made quite the showing.

Freshman William Miller took home 8th place in the boys event with a time of 20:40. Junior Elijah Biedinger finished with a time of 26:40.

Phoebe Lovins turned in a time of 16:20 to capture 21st place on the girls side.

Both Lovins and Miller received medals for their efforts.

Comfort, Atonement Academy, Bandera (Boys), Blanco, Boerne Geneva, Bracken Christian, Center Point, Cherokee, Florence,  Fredericksburg Heritage, Gonzales, Harper, Johnson City, Kerrville Tivy, Lackland Stacey, Living Rock Academy, Medina, Natalia, Rocksprings, SA Cole,  SA Fox Tech, SA Lutheran, SA Randolph, and 1st Baptist Academy Universal City all participated in the event.

The Mustangs will head to San Marcos to compete in the San Marcos Invitational on Saturday, September 2nd.
